Arriving in Sydney
Welcome!
We love our sunny city, and can’t wait to show you when you arrive.
On arrival, you will make it through immigration and customs (We are very careful about bringing food, animals, wood, and other things in the country, so check the signs and make sure you declare anything you aren’t sure about.
TRANSPORT
You have a number of options to help you get out of Kingsford Smith Airport.
To get to us in North Bondi you can try:
Taxi:
This can cost approximately $60-$70AUD (more with traffic or at night). If no traffic it can take about 30 minutes to arrive to us. Taxis are available at the taxi stand.
Uber:
Can be cheaper than a regular taxi, however must prebook from an app on you phone. If this is your first time using Uber you can contact us before you leave and we can give you a code that offers a discount.
Ola Cabs:
Similar to Uber. Also a cheaper taxi option. bookings via app. If this is your first time using Ola you can contact us before you leave and we can give you a code that offers a discount.
Shuttle:
There are several Shuttle companies that will transfer you from the airport directly to us.
A classic shuttle where you pay per person is approximately $30. These are usually pre booked. Approximate cost is $20. These shuttles will drop you at our door.
If you are travelling in a group of 3 or more, you can book a shared ride with a company like Ready2Go from $67 for 3 people. They have large vans that sit up to 10, if you have a large group or a lot of luggage.
Train and bus:
Using public transport Train & Bus, it will take approximately 45 minutes (plus wait time at changes).
The approximate cost is $20.
Trains leave from The international airport regularly from about 5am (sometimes earlier) till about midnight most nights.
To get to us you board the train to the city, and change at Town Hall Station to the T4 line, towards Bondi Junction. This trip takes approximately 30 minutes.
At Bondi Beach take the 386 or 387 Bus . Ask to be let off at Old South Head Rd opposite Roe Street. This is Rose Bay Stop ID 202919.
Cross the road to the other side and it is a 1 minute walk to number 427 (you are already on the correct street).
